Orient Petroleum manages a portfolio of operated and non-operated assets, supported by integrated technical and operational capabilities. The company’s activities span subsurface evaluation, drilling and field development, production operations and facilities management.

Operational Record
Within few years of commencing operations in 1979, Orient Petroleum made a landmark discovery in Dhurnal field — one of the country’s most significant oil discoveries of its era.

Orient Petroleum has grown both organically and through acquisitions in Pakistan by:
- Establishing an operational footprint in Pakistan, with first commercial production in mid-1980s
- Expanding the portfolio through acquisitions of producing and development assets, supported by systematic appraisal and development drilling
- Strengthening subsurface understanding through large-scale seismic programmes, including early adoption of advanced 3D seismic
- Building a diversified exploration portfolio by securing multiple strategic exploration licences across key basins
- Achieving record-fast development and commercialization of discovered fields
- Extending its footprint into deep-sea offshore exploration blocks
- Continuing to enhance value through brownfield optimisation, infill drilling and production-facility upgrades that sustain long-term growth
