Orient Petroleum (OPI) and Mari Energies (ME) have entered Contract for the provision of Early Production Facilities (EPF) on Turnkey basis (including dismantling, transportation, installation, commissioning, and startup) and construction of Works for Shewa discovery in Waziristan Block. JVPs also mandated OPI to provide Operations and Maintenance (“O&M”) Services for 100 MMSCFD processing train for a period of 24 months from the start of production from Shewa Discovery.

It is a paramount step to bring the discovery in main System in shortest time and shall help in reducing the foreign exchange burden and help to boost the indigenous hydrocarbon resources in the area and country at large.
