Dhurnal Crude Oil Field
Biggest Oil field in Pakistan
The Field represents one of Pakistan’s most remarkable hydrocarbon discoveries and a defining milestone in OPI’s operating history. Discovered in 1984, the field rapidly became a major national producer, achieving peak oil production exceeding 22,000 BOPD and delivering more than 50 million barrels of cumulative oil.
OPI successfully executed full field development, including Pakistan’s first water-injection project, demonstrating strong technical capability and operational discipline
Waziristan Gas-Condensate Field
Integrated Project Management Success
Waziristan Gas-Condensate field represents a benchmark in OPI’s operational history. Despite challenging terrain and security conditions, OPI successfully managed to transport, install, and commission the 100 MMSCFD gas facility in 8 months of record time.
In addition, OPI has also been mandated to run the operation of the field for 24 months, which has started from Mar 2025.
Zamzama Gas-Condensate Field
One of the Largest Gas Fields
One of Pakistan’s most prominent gas fields that achieved peak production of nearly 600 MMSCFD, positioning it among the country’s largest gas-producing fields of its time. Over the years, 13 development wells have been successfully drilled, supported by extensive subsurface and seismic studies that have continually expanded the understanding of the field’s long-term potential.
Recent 3D seismic interpretation has identified significant deeper prospectivity within the Chiltan Formation, paving the way for a new phase of deep-target drilling.
