Mehar-4 Well Drilling

Mehar-4 was drilled as a development well in Mehar D&PL with the objective to enhance production & reserves from the field. Mehar-4 was spud on Feb 16, 2021 and drilled vertically down to a total depth of 12,392 ft MD (12,389 ft TVD) in Mughalkot Formation within the planned timeline. Based on the open hole logs results, XPT was carried out to determine different reservoirs pressures and mobilities. The well was completed 4 ½” tubing. Discovery was made after testing gas & condensate in the Mughalkot formation. The well started production from Mughalkot on 25th June 2021. Later, Pab perforations were added during October 10-12, 2021 to get optimized & sustainable commingled production from Pab & Mughalkot formations.
